Solva is a small set of puzzles that resets every day. Open it, play what you feel like, close it. Five minutes, then it is done until tomorrow.
How the day works
Every challenge comes from the date itself, so the puzzle you are solving is the same one everyone else is solving today — which is what makes it worth talking about. At midnight, your time, a new set appears and the old one is gone.
There is no account and no sign-up. Your streak and your statistics live in your browser, which means they are private, and also that they are yours to lose if you clear your browser data.
The games
- LadderFive things, one hidden order. Four tries, and every correct position stays locked.
- WeightsRead the clues, load the pan, spend your weighings well. No knowledge required, none helps.
None of them need language, and none of them need you to be from anywhere in particular. That is deliberate: a puzzle about ordering, weighing or noticing works the same in every country, which a word game never can.
Sharing
When you finish, you get one line per game — how it went, without giving anything away. Paste it wherever you like. It is the only way anyone finds this place, so if you enjoyed the day, that line is the favour.
Who makes it
Solva is built by Insert Coin, a one-person studio. It is new, it is small, and more games are coming — the two empty slots on the home screen are not decoration.
